A jaw-dropping aerial stunt over Dubai has gone viral on social media. Thanks to Sheikh Hamdan, Dubai’s Crown Prince, for sharing the video of a fearless performer who took “high-flying” through a 1,000-foot Airship Swing to an entirely new level. Magali Folkner Braff became an overnight sensation after appearing in a video. The clip, posted on Thursday, sent viewers straight into the clouds, capturing a spectacle that blends artistry and a whole lot of altitude.

The stunt was crafted to celebrate Skydive Dubai’s 15th anniversary. The video redefines the limits of adventure sports in Dubai. In the footage, Magali appears in a striking red outfit while seated on a swing suspended from a small aircraft attached beneath a blimp emblazoned with Skydive Dubai’s anniversary message, “15 years of rising above ordinary.” The moment sealed its place in viral history.

As the blimp drifted smoothly across the skyline, Dubai’s most recognisable landmarks rolled into view. Burj Khalifa pierced the horizon, Burj Al Arab gleamed from its perch by the sea, and the vast stretch of Palm Jumeirah curved beneath her. Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island appeared like tiny details in a giant diorama. 

A Scene Built For The Skyline

With a parachute secured for safety, Magali held her balance as the swing cut gently through the air as mentioned in a report by Gulf News. At one point, she stood upright, rising into the sunlight as Sheppard’s “Learning to Fly” hit the lyric “standing on the edge.” The flowing red fabric trailing behind her made the entire scene feel almost surreal.

The Freefall That Will Be Etched In The Skydiving History Of Dubai

The finale arrived in true Skydive Dubai style as Magali released herself from the swing and plunged into a controlled freefall, gliding toward Kite Beach. Her landing against the Burj Al Arab was so picture-perfect. The only word she gave after touching down was a breathless “Amazing,” and honestly, it summed up the whole spectacle.
