And the best part is, there is no need to be a genius to pass medical results. After this unified test, the residency permit is automatically issued—no extra steps or paperwork. As a report by the Gulf News explains, the service was initiated as part of a program called City Makers in Dubai and is an indication of a significant improvement in the way people and professionals engage with government services.
A Single Digital Track
The new system is operational on an intelligent digital platform that is professionally responsive. Choose your job position, and the site will know what medical examinations you require. All necessary exams are now done in one visit by the applicants. It implies that there is neither duplication of tests nor duplicate appointments due to a lack of communication between the two departments. Also, Residency issuance is automated once the physicians accept the outcomes.
Still, in the background, linked databases within government agencies accelerate the exchange of data and enhance precision, which are essential since the population of Dubai and the number of workers are constantly increasing.
The Reason Why The Government Of Dubai Is Relying On Integration
This service is the outcome of the joint efforts of the Dubai Health Authority, GDRFA Dubai, Dubai Municipality, the Supreme Legislation Committee, and the Department of Finance. Dubai Health Authority Director General Dr Alawi Alsheikh-Ali termed the initiative a breakthrough in collaborative government activity. Also, the aim is to get quick processes, standardisation of data interchange and enhanced preventative planning.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri of GDRFA Dubai shared that point of view, and he pointed out that safe, automated data exchange reduces delays and enhances the general experience of the resident.
