Not having to scroll through phones or bring a novel home to read, beachgoers can choose a book directly from the shelf and begin to read it with the background sound of waves.

The new library is right on the sand and accessible to everybody. Families, tourists, students, or any other person who simply needs a screen break.
A mixture of titles will be presented to the readers. From fiction, history, to children’s stories, the library has books both in Arabic and English, and this makes the library easily accessible to a broad range of people in the diversified community of Dubai.
According to the report by SceneNow, the library has enabled people to take books to the beach and just give them back to the shelf when they are done, allowing others to enjoy them as well.

This is not the first attempt at reading by the sea that the city has ever tried. The idea of having a beach library is not new, and Dubai already launched it at Kite Beach, and people noticed the novelty.
Today, the city intends to extend the concept, with the Jumeirah Beach 2 location added to it.
