Dubai Passes The Largest Budget Yet In Its History With Approved Expenditure Of AED302.7 Bn

Recently, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved the general budget cycle for the fiscal year 2026-2028 of the Government of Dubai. For those who are wondering, he is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai. And the general budget for the fiscal year has been approved for a total expenditure of AED302.7 billion.

Sheikh Mohammed Approved AED302.7 Bn Dubai Budget

The three-year budget cycle for 2026 has now been approved with a total expenditure of AED302.7 billion and total revenues of AED329.2 billion. It should be noted that this is the largest budget cycle in the history of the emirate, as revealed in a report by Gulf News. Additionally, it reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed for advancing the strategic objectives of the emirate. Additionally, it aims to double the GDP of Dubai! Therefore, positioning it among the world’s top three urban economies in the next decade.
