It was on January 4th, 20 years ago, when he assumed the leadership of the emirate, and the vision that would redefine the city was set in motion. As it happens under his leadership, the emirate has evolved into a place where the impossible gets transformed into reality, leaving people stunned. Known for breathing life into solving the most incredible milestones, his leadership has seen some of the biggest transformative projects.
A Glance At Some Of His Visionary Projects!
Some of the many development projects are as follows:
- Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, which was established in 2006, with just five engineers
- Dubai Care was launched to improve the quality of education access worldwide.
- Atlantis The Palm was the brainchild of Sheikh Mohammed, and it’s more than just a luxury resort.
- Dubai Metro opened in 2009, becoming home to the first rapid transit train network in the region
- Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world, is a symbol of his philosophy, which was inaugurated on January 4th, 2010.
- Bluewaters Island was approved in 2013 and reflects the emirate’s ability to continuously reinvent the urban landscape
- Golden Visa Programme, which is a long-term residency scheme, cemented the emirate’s position as a global hub for talent

An Endless List Of Developments
These were just a few of the many achievements, but from Palm Jebel Ali and the Museum of Future to the expansion of the Al Maktoum International Airport and the Expo 2020 Dubai, the list truly seems endless. Not only this, but several UAE leaders, such as Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the President of the UAE and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi has also congratulated him for the incredible achievement.
