It’s no secret that people go all out and decorate their homes during the month of Ramadan. And if you ask someone who lives in Dubai, you will be pleased to know that your efforts might get appreciated. Well, we are talking about the fact that Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes. Competition is returning for its second season, and here’s all you need to know about the winning prize and what’s in store for you.

Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes Competition Returns

Besides wanting your house to look beautiful, you have another reason to go all out in your decorations. Dubai residents rejoice, as the second edition of ‘Dubai’s Best Decorated Ramadan Homes’ competition has made its much-awaited return. This year, there will be a cash prize of AED1,00,000 and a total of 15 winners will be rewarded. They will be given this award for bringing the spirit of the holy month to life, right at their doorstep.

As it happens, the decoration competition is now open for entries and families across the emirates are invited to participate. They will get to transform their home façades to create a display that celebrates the values of Ramadan. The deadline to enter is March 11th, 2026. So, there is just a short window to get all the decorations up and the cameras rolling.

What About The Winning Prize?

Coming to the prize money, the 15 cash prizes in total are as follows:

  • Winner of first place get AED100,000
  • Winners of second place get AED80,000
  • Winners of third place win AED60,000
  • Winners of fourth place get AED40,000
  • Winners of fifth place win AED20,000
  • 10 additional winners would win AED10,000 each

So, basically, with a combined cash pool prize of AED4,00,000, the community is in for a significant incentive. This means people have an additional reason to ensure their homes are decked with creative Ramadan decorations.

How Can One Enter The Competitions?

A competition organised by the Brand Dubai, which is a creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office. It taps into the long-standing tradition of decorating houses during Ramadan. But how can one enter this competition? Well, participants can be residents living within the emirate of Dubai.

  • To enter the competition, one has to decorate the front facade of their homes using lighting and decorative elements with the themes of Ramadan.
  • After this, they must shoot a creative video of the decorated home that reflects a theme of the ‘Year of Family’.
  • Once done, they must upload the video to their public Instagram account and use the hashtag #Dubai_best_decorated_ramadan_home_2026. They must also tag @BrandDubai.
