According to a report by Zawya, Oman will now approve launch requests in just 45 days. This will make it one of the fastest in the world. Basically, it has 100 hotels currently operational or upcoming soon. According to a report by Zawya, $8 billion was invested in this project by Hilton. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Hamdan launched the Al Maktoum Archives. Basically, the initiative was launched to preserve the history, culture, and legacy of Dubai’s Rulers and the Al Maktoum family. According to a report by Gulf Today, this will store biographies, collections, writings, and key historical records of Dubai’s evolution across these years.
4. Major Roads In Abu Dhabi Get Dynamic Speed Limits
Dynamic speed limits are being introduced on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road in Abu Dhabi from October 27. According to a report by The National, the speed will automatically change between 100kph and 80kph depending on weather, traffic, events or roadworks. The goal is to improve traffic flow and keep drivers safe. During fog, rain, sandstorms or heavy traffic, the limit will drop to reduce accidents and ease congestion. Speed limits will also be lowered during roadworks to protect drivers and workers. Authorities say this is part of ongoing efforts to cut road accidents and save lives.
