The airline confirmed via BBC that police attended the aircraft after disruptive behaviour onboard forced an initial cancellation. Once that situation got under control, crew duty limits kicked in. Then came bad weather and airport slot issues, leading to a 30-hour delay that finally ended Sunday evening. 

3. Keeta Enters Bahrain With Big Tech Confidence

Bahrain just added another serious player to its food delivery space. The renowned brand, Keeta, officially launched operations in Manama. The heavyweight is backed by Chinese tech heavyweight Meituan. The announcement came in the presence of Bahrain’s Industry and Commerce Minister and China’s Ambassador, as mentioned in a report by CBNME. Keeta’s steady expansion across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar signals growth across faith in Bahrain’s digital infrastructure.

5. Dubai’s UAE Flag Garden Signs Off For The Season

UAE Flag Garden has announced its final call. The installation at Umm Suqeim Beach closes on January 10 after a 12-year run as per Gulf News. Thousands of flags wave with the Burj Al Arab in the background. This year, Brand Dubai arranged 11,000 flags into aerial portraits honouring Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
