1. A Royal UAE Presence At Egypt’s Grand Egyptian Museum Opening

The grand opening of Egypt’s Grand Museum witnessed royal presence from the UAE.  According to a report by Gulf News, HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, represented the UAE at the inaugural ceremony.  The opening night was attended by global dignitaries, and the sky was filled with fireworks and celebrations.

2. Pepsi Egypt Unveils A Limited-Edition Heritage Can

Pepsi Egypt launched a limited-edition can in time to honour the civilisation of Egypt and celebrate the unveiling of the Grand Egyptian Museum. As mentioned in their official Instagram post, the design is inspired by the country’s timeless artistry, decorated with hieroglyphs, pharaonic motifs, and the Pyramids of Giza. This collectable edition is available exclusively across select outlets in Egypt.

3. European Film Festival Returns To Riyadh

The European Film Festival 2025 is back in Riyadh, and Cinephiles are running to attend it. As mentioned in their official Instagram post, the event kicks off from November 3 to 11 at VOX Cinemas, Century Corner. Expect the festival to bring together 15 films from 15 European countries, including Italy, Sweden, Portugal, and Ukraine.

4. SPAR Oman Unveils AI-Powered Flagship In Muscat

In Muscat, SPAR Oman has opened a futuristic flagship supermarket in Al Khoud’s Al Rahma Mall. As per the Retail Insight Network report, the supermarket is spread across 900 square metres and offers over 10,000 products, which is a perfect blend of international and locally sourced items.

What’s unique? Well, the supermarket offers AI-powered self-checkout systems, streamlining the shopping experience and a dedicated bakery run by in-house chefs.

5. Expo School Programme Launches “Earth 2.0” In Dubai

Education meets innovation in the UAE as the Expo School Programme launches Earth 2.0, a two-day interactive space education event from November 22–23. As per the press release, it is aimed at students aged 8 to 12. The programme invites young explorers to imagine life beyond Earth with hands-on sessions in rockets, robotics, AI, and planetary science. A live session with NASA astronaut Colonel Sam Gemar, who completed three space missions and 385 Earth orbits, is the highlight of the event. Hosted by SkillUp, this initiative inspires students to think like scientists, build like engineers, and dream like space explorers.
