1. Gulf Air Cancels and Delays Multiple Routes Across the Region

Citing operational challenges, Gulf Air has informed of cancellations and delays on several flights from Friday and Saturday. With over 38 flight delays and 6 cancellations, the carrier has affected routes like Bahrain, Muscat, Dammam and Baghdad.  According to a report by Gulf News, airports like Seeb International, Bahrain International, King Fahd International and Baghdad have been impacted due to connected services. The issues have been a result of significant logistical strain on the carrier, as reported in Travel and Tour World.

2. Air Arabia Expands Horizons With New Ras Al Khaimah–Yekaterinburg Route

Now you can fly to Yekaterinburg directly from Ras Al Khaimah, thanks to Air Arabia. According to a report by Qatar Tribune, the carrier has launched a non-stop flight to connect the UAE and Russia for seamless and affordable travel. The new weekly service operates every Monday from Ras Al Khaimah and returns on Tuesday from Yekaterinburg.

3. Will Smith Set to Headline Sharjah International Book Fair 2025

Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 has announced a celebrity appearance that has lit up the line-up. As stated in Dubai Eye, Will Smith, the Hollywood icon, will headline the event with a live discussion on November 14 on the Main stage. He will bring insights from his journey across film, music, writing, and entrepreneurship.

4. Qatar Airways Named ‘Best Airline in the World’ at 2025 Business Traveller Awards

Qatar Airways has been crowned the ‘Best Airline in the World’ at the Business Traveller Awards 2025, held at London’s Sky Garden. According to a report by Aviation24, it is recognised by a panel of aviation experts, the airline earned multiple top honours, including Best Business Class, Best Economy Class, Best Frequent Flyer Programme, Best Airline Lounge (Al Mourjan Lounges, DOH), and Best Airline Between Europe and the Middle East.

5. Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025 Kicks Off This November

The Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025 has officially started with free beach workouts and yoga sessions. According to a report by Travel and Tour World, the DP World Kite Beach 30×30 Fitness Village, hosted by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council, has turned into a vibrant fitness hub. This year marks the ninth edition of Dubai’s flagship health initiative.
