GCC Unified Tourist Visa Set For Trial In Late 2025? Here’s What We Know!

The GCC Unified Tourist Visa is truly one of the most talked-about developments in the region. And, it seems that the trial is going to begin quite soon. Yes, it’s expected that the GCC Unified Tourist Visa, which has also been dubbed as ‘GCC Grand Tours’ is expected to be launched for trial later in 2025.

GCC Unified Tourist Visa To Go On Trial Soon?

Once the trial is done, a complete rollout is going to follow for the GCC Unified Tourist Visa. With this visa, there will be seamless travel across the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman. Once the trial is done, it will be followed by a full rollout. As it happens, the Secretary General has confirmed in a report of Khaleej Times that this visa is in the final approval stage. In fact, the application is going to be available soon through the digital platform.

Saudi Arabia Is Expected To Benefit The Most

With this visa available, it’s going to make travelling a lot easier for tourists. It’s expected to be similar to a Schengen-style visa that allows access to different countries through a single visa. In fact, recently, Arab News revealed how Saudi Arabia is going to win the most through this new system. The timing is quite amazing for Saudi Arabia, as the boom in tourism is going to be a part of its Vision 2030. Especially with mega projects like NEOM, Red Sea, and AlUla Cultural Oasis taking place, tourists are going to benefit massively.
