1. GDRFA Welcomes Visitors With Special Stamps

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs marked the celebration of the 95th Saudi National Day in a special way. For this purpose, they used a special commemorative passport stamp that featured the official logo of the celebration. It also had the phrase, ‘UAE-Saudi, Together Forever’.

2. Rain Blesses Grand Mosque In Makkah

The Saudi National Day saw heavy rain pouring over Mecca’s Grand Mosque. As pilgrims and residents offered prayer, raindrops fell on the sacred ground. There were several pictures shared on social media, showcasing gratitude and the profound connection of fate with nature.

3. Red Alert Issued For Thick Fog Across Abu Dhabi

A red alert for fog was issued for many parts of the UAE on the morning of September 24. The NCM also had caution mode, especially in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, about reduced visibility on roads. Several parts of the country were predicted to be affected till 9 AM, and therefore drivers were urged to follow changing speed limits.

4. Sharjah Ruler’s Granddaughter Gets Married

On Sunday, the granddaughter of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who is a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, got married. This was announced by her mother, Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi is famous for her exemplary work on bringing UAE culture and heritage to light. And she shared a picture of her daughter standing on the stage.

5. Early Winter Break Notice Issued For UAE Schools

Schools across the UAE have already started to issue winter break reminders. This is to ensure that families can start planning their holidays without the studies of children being affected. The first term will end with a four-week winter break, which is an extension of the previous three-week schedule. So, the holidays will start from December 8th and will go until January 4th.
