1. Mwasalat Temporarily Suspends Multiple Bus Routes
In a formal notice, Mwasalat, as reported by Muscat Daily, has suspended several bus services. This has been done in response to the alerts, which has been issued by relevant authorities due to the current weather conditions. For Thursday, March 26th, the operator has confirmed that routes in Muscat, including those of Routes 6, 7, 9, and 10, will remain suspended. This comes as intercity transport has also been significantly affected due to the weather, besides the local services.
2. Fresh Wave Of Heavy Rain Predicted For The UAE
It is expected that a new wave of rainfall is moving in from Al Dhafra and the Arabian Gulf. It is expected to spread across most parts of the UAE in the coming hours. There is even a possibility of hail in some areas. Not to mention, even though the winds are expected to be light to moderate, they might strengthen up at times.
3. NCEMA Clarifies About Thunder Sounds
In its post on X, the NCEMA has clarified that due to the current weather conditions, sounds may accompany, which includes thunder. These are normal, and it is expected in these weather conditions. So, one must not fall prey to rumours and be vigilant. However, it also mentions that in case of any threat, instructions and warnings will be issued immediately through the National Early Warning System. As a result, people must rely on official sources for information.
4. Al Jouf In Saudi Arabia Is Blanketed In White
Due to the unprecedented weather conditions, Al-Jouf in Saudi Arabia has received substantial rain accompanied by hail. As a result, the ground has been saturated, which has resulted in the flow of water in valleys. Hail has ended a blanketing of Al-Jouf, and it turned white, as a result, after the rains.

5. KHDA Confirms Continuation Of Distance Learning
Keeping the safety of children in mind, KHDA has confirmed that there will be a continuation of distance learning. This will be across private educational institutions in Dubai until Friday, April 3rd. KHDA has also confirmed that those institutions, which are seeking to resume on-site learning, must submit a formal request. It must mention a clear and detailed justification.
