1. 1,516 New Archaeological Sites Registered In Saudi Arabia
The Heritage Committee of Saudi Arabia has announced that 1,516 new archaeological sites have been registered in the national antiquities register. This has brought the total number of documented sites across the kingdom to 11,577. The most that have been recorded are in Riyadh with 1,174.
2. Thunderstorms Expected Across The UAE
Early morning, Al Ain and parts of Dubai and Sharjah received rainfall. However, the intensity varied across the region, especially in Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain. However, the forecast by NCA mentions that there is a significant chance of convective cloud formation. This is as expected over northern and eastern regions.
3. Frieze Abu Dhabi To Debut In November
This is a leading art organisation that has finally announced its expansion into the Gulf. Yes, it is scheduled to make its debut in November 2026 in Abu Dhabi. The new fare will also represent the first venture by the organisation in the Middle East, and also its eighth international edition
4. Etihad Airways To Abu Dhabi-Kabul Service
It was recently mentioned that Etihad Airways will launch three weekly flights. The three weekly flights to Kabul will begin in December as there is growing demand for travel between the two nations. The onboard carrier will be serviced by an Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight is supposed to begin on December 18th, and it will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

5. Public In Muscat Municipality Urged To Keep Wadis Clean
The public has been urged to keep the wadis clean by the Muscat Municipality. The authority has renewed its call against the illegal dumping of waste and flood channels. After all, these practices could block the natural flow of water, causing a risk of flooding.
