Orionids Meteor Shower is an annual event that takes place when cosmic debris passes through the Earth’s atmosphere. So, when this trail of debris passes by, they leave behind blazing meteors that are called shooting stars. The Orionids meteor shower takes place during the months of October and November, and the peak generally happens between October 21st and 22nd.

In fact, Dubai Astronomy Group will be hosting guided sessions where people can watch the Orionids meteor shower in Al Qudra Desert. People can observe through telescopes, astrophotography and sky mapping.
