1. Abu Dhabi Mobility Activates Paid Parking System
Abu Dhabi Mobility recently announced that the paid parking system will be activated in new sectors of Musaffah. As revealed by the Gulf News, this will be from April 20th, and it is a part of its effort to improve traffic flow and even regulate parking usage. Through this initiative, they aim to reduce haphazard parking, thereby easing congestion.
2. Dubai RTA Announces Completion Of 726 Bus Shelters
Dubai RTA, in its recent post, mentioned that it would complete 726 modern bus shelters. This would be across key areas of the emirate. This marks a major upgrade towards the everyday public transport experience. Serving 192 million riders annually, it reflects a broader strategy.
3. Khalid Bin Mohammed Arrives In China
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed, arrives in the Chinese capital, Beijing. It marks the start of an official visit, which aims to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and China. This marks both countries’ commitment towards elevating bilateral relations.
4. NCM Forecast Light Rain For Makkah
The National Centre for Meteorology has issued a weather alert for Makkah. And the NCM has forecast light rain showers, and it is predicted that it could be accompanied by gusty winds. It is expected that the condition may continue until 8 pm.

5. Etihad Airways Announces 5 New Routes In China
Etihad Airways recently announced five new routes in China. This is with an additional 28 weekly flights, taking the operations to 35 weekly flights. These are across six destinations, and this also includes daily services to Beijing, Daxing. In fact, it marks one of the largest capacity additions in a single market by the airline.
