Well, Qatar is offering a residence-by-investment program for all Indians. There’s a mentioned slab of investment to be eligible for this long-term residency in Qatar.
For the 5-year term, Rs 1.5 crore (QAR 730,000 / USD 200,000) and for permanent residency, Rs 7.5 crore (QAR 3,650,000 / USD 1 million) is the required investment. This program is more suitable for business-oriented people who would be interested in investing in a country like Qatar.
Who’s Eligible & Where To Invest?
Indians are allowed to invest in government-approved zones in Qatar. This lets them own high-end development projects on a long-term lease basis or direct ownership of the property. For example, it would be best suitable for Indians to invest in neighbourhoods like Msheireb, Lusail City and The Pearl. All you need to do is submit documents that qualify your investment and supporting documents. It is then sent to the Ministry of Interior for further review, and once approved, the individual can live, work or access the benefits of this long-term residency in Qatar.
