Nakheel, which is a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, is developing the Dubai Islands. The works are scheduled for completion by Q4 2027. It would add 320 metres of beach frontage near Bay Villas. This is a residential community which would comprise 636 homes.

4. Nooh bin Salim al Kalbani To Cycle From Buraimi To Dhofar

Nooh bin Salim al Kalbani, who is an Omani adventurer, will cycle 1,700km from Buraimi to Dhofar. This is an ambitious journey and it would promote sport, rich cultural heritage and domestic tourism. About 760 km has already been completed, and he will be travelling through several wilayats, including Buraimi, Yanqul, Ibri, Nizwa, Mahdah, Bahla, and Manah.

5. Project To Establish Coral Nurseries In Jeddah Underway

The project to establish coral nurseries in Jeddah is currently underway by the General Organisation for Conservation of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea. This programme began in mid-2024. It should be noted that this nursery currently contains 80 coral colonies, and these are at varying depths across 13 genera.
