Majid Al Futtaim Launches Ghaf Woods Mall
Launched on October 6 by Majid Al Futtaim, the Ghaf Woods Mall will be the retail and leisure company’s 30th mall, once it is complete. Regarded as a world-class shopping and leisure destination, the mall aims to integrate nature and technology. This new mall will be set at the heart of the forest community and will be the first-of-its-kind forest integrated retail space in the region.

Offering shoppers a mix of top retail entertainment, dining experiences, and leisure, they will be able to experience the impressive new residential community. Although the initial design of the mall has not yet been revealed, it is set to be incorporated with the same elements as those of the wider Ghaf Woods community. Basically, the concept behind the mall in the forest is the group’s commitment towards environmental innovation and excellence.
Once the Ghaf Woods Mall is up and running, it will be on the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road as a part of the Ghaf Woods community. With the mall said to be featured in the 7,38,000 m² for its community, it is expected to gradually open in eight phases until 2031. However, a timeframe for the Ghaf Woods mall has not yet been revealed.

About Ghaf Woods Development
At this point, it was not that Ghaf Woods is an AED15.4 billion development and the first-of-its-kind residential community offering a wide range of forms, including everything from luxury. Penthouses to trendy apartments, it is being designed in such a way that it offers ample greenery. As such, 35,000 Ghaf trees would be placed strategically throughout the development, which would offer natural cooling to the area, maintaining excellent air quality. Additionally, it is said to fall amongst the top 10 must-visit locations in Dubai once it is complete.
