1. Emirates Announces 2nd Service To Tokyo Narita

Emirates recently announced that it is expanding its operations to Tokyo Narita. Yes, they will introduce a second daily service from May 1st onwards. These would be operated by the retrofitted Boeing 777-300 ER. The additional flight EK320 would depart from Dubai at 10:30 PM. It would arrive in Tokyo Narita at 1:30 PM the following day. The return service EK321 would depart from Tokyo Narita at 9:30 PM and then arrive in Dubai at 3:50 AM, on the next day.

2. Sheikh Mohammed Reviews Blue & Green Spaces Roadmap 2030

Launched by the Dubai Municipality at the World Governments Summit 2026, the Blue & Green Spaces Roadmap 2030 was reviewed by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This is a roadmap which includes a portfolio of projects that are valued at over AED4 billion. Moreover, it reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading global sustainable city.

3. Hamdan Bin Zayed: The World’s Richest Sea Initiative Launched

As revealed in a report by Abu Dhabi Media Office, Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi has launched Hamdan Bin Zayed: The World’s Richest Sea. This aims to increase fish stocks and support food security. As it happens, the initiative is to achieve one of the highest fish densities globally by 2030 by protecting and enhancing marine habitats. It is through science-led regulations that this initiative aims to achieve its goal.

4. AlUla Marks Its Position As A Premier Global, Cultural & Arts Destination

AlUla is continuing to strengthen its standing as one of the world’s prominent cultural and arts destinations. As revealed by the SPA, it draws on deep-rooted civilisational heritage, historical assets and exceptional nature. With an integrated cultural vision, it has been transformed into a vibrant platform for artistic creativity, contemporary cultural dialogue and knowledge production.

Moreover, the requirements establish standards that are based on international benchmarks, such as the Blue Flag.
