In line with directives from His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, who is the Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah, work is currently underway to construct a new public roundabout. Yes, this is coming up in Kalba, and the roundabout is being designed so that it welcomes visitors who are entering the city from the western side. Here’s all you need to know about the new roundabout coming to the city.
Kalba To Get A Roundabout Fountain Spraying Rose Water
As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, this is according to the direct line programme. The cool thing about this roundabout is that it would feature a central fountain. And this fountain would spray rose water. Thereby, it would create a sensory experience for residents and visitors.
The fragrant water fountain is currently under construction, and this is bound to be the centrepiece of the landmark. Once it becomes functional, it will fill the surrounding area with a fragrant scent that will leave people feeling refreshed when they come in the vicinity.

More Developments In Sharjah
This development comes from Sharjah, where recently, it was also announced that Khorfakkan was to become a city surrounded by forest. To be characterised by high oxygen levels and low carbon dioxide, it would be surrounded by a forest of trees. Also announced during the direct line program, the Ruler of Sharjah was seen mentioning how the foot of the mountains beneath the slope is the best place for obtaining suitable soil. And it mentioned how the plan is underway to plant the mountains of Khorfakkan.
