Yes, all set to open in Sharjah’s mountainous valley, it would not feature Wi-Fi or light! Yes, this new eco-retreat will open on the East Coast of Sharjah later this year and here’s all you need to know about this great hospitality concept.
Nomad Luxury Trailers To Launch In Q4 Of 2025
Combining luxury accommodation with minimal environmental impact, it is expected that Nomad will launch in the fourth quarter of 2025. It is expected to feature 20 solar-powered trailers in the mountain valleys. Falling near the Kalba Nature Reserves, it has been built locally. The units, as revealed in a report by Khaleej Times, are to operate with no Wi-Fi! Following a lights-off approach it encourages digital disconnection and protects the night sky visibility.

A part of the latest addition to the Sharjah Collection, this is a portfolio of eco retreats, which is operated by Shurooq. In case you weren’t aware, the authority has invested over AED300 million in recent years to expand the network. And now it covers seven destinations. These are from the deserts to the coasts and mountains of the emirate. According to the officials, the development aims to preserve cultural identity and biodiversity. They plan to do so while allowing visitors to experience meaningful and slow travel.

Sharjah Collection Also Offers 154 Accommodations
In case you are wondering, Sharjah Collection now offers 154 accommodation units. Spread across varied landscapes, the retreats are a part of a wider AED850 million hospitality portfolio. For instance, the Alpha Retreat, which is located in Mleiha’s desert, was repurposed into 1960s buildings. It was repurposed into a five-room boutique property, featuring desert trails and contemporary dining.
So, with this new site nearly here, you can truly expect that it’s going to be a great escape from the mundanity of daily life.
