Riyadh is about to shake under the weight of basslines and star power. Soundstorm 2025 is returning to Banban from Thursday, 11 December to Saturday, 13 December, and let’s be real, the line-up is stacked. South Africa’s global sensation Tyla is headlining for the first time in Saudi Arabia, alongside giants like Post Malone, DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem, and Benson Boone. If you thought last year was massive, this year’s sixth edition is set to top it.

Tyla’s Saudi Debut
Yes, you heard that right. Tyla, the Grammy-winning hitmaker behind Water, is performing in the Kingdom for the very first time. She rose to global fame with sultry lyrics, that effortless charisma, and an energy that spills over to every corner of the crowd; she’s bound to turn her debut into the stuff of festival legend. Let’s be honest, Riyadh won’t stop talking about this one anytime soon.
Post Malone Returns
Soundstorm wouldn’t feel complete without at least one megastar returning to familiar turf. Enter Post Malone, back in Riyadh after dominating stages worldwide. Known for blurring genre lines, his sets are part rap, part rock, part pop, and all chaos in the best way possible. To be fair, there’s no predicting what he’ll pull out of the bag, but one thing’s certain: the crowd will sing every lyric louder than him.
Fresh Faces and Global Energy
The organisers haven’t skimped on variety either. Rising star Benson Boone has gone from TikTok fame to chart dominance, and this will be his chance to prove he’s more than just a viral wonder. Meanwhile, Korolova, the Ukrainian DJ with a knack for melodic techno, will bring a pulsing energy that should carry deep into the night.
Over on the UK side of things, Loyle Carner adds sharp lyricism and reflective storytelling to the mix, a curveball that balances out the heavy beats. And then you’ve got Kaytranada, effortlessly blending house, funk, and hip-hop into grooves that make standing still basically impossible.
Heavy Hitters for the Dancefloor
No global festival would be complete without a few names designed to turn the place upside down. That’s where DJ Snake comes in, ready to unload hit after hit on Riyadh’s main stage. Add Major Lazer Soundsystem, the Jamaican trio famous for fusing reggae and electronic chaos, and you’ve got the makings of a night that’s less “concert” and more “full-body workout.” Oh, and let’s not forget The Kid Laroi and Metro Boomin, both joining the storm to make the line-up feel even more unstoppable.
Beyond the Music
Soundstorm 2025 isn’t just about who’s playing. After all, this is MDLBeast we’re talking about. Expect reimagined ticket tiers, Storm, Storm+ and VIB, plus brand-new activations, luxury experiences, and surprises that aren’t even on the line-up yet. Tickets start from SAR119 on the NOFOMO site, which, come on, is cheaper than some brunches in Riyadh.
Every edition of Soundstorm claims to raise the bar. So, mark the dates. From 11 to 13 December, Banban won’t just be hosting a music festival. It’ll be hosting a cultural storm that could redefine how the world sees Riyadh.
