1. Emirates Trains Crew For Luxury Service
Emirates Centre of Hospitality Excellence has opened to offer hands-on and bespoke training experiences to the 25000 cabin crew members. Complete with sprawling restaurant and lounge, the facility also has well-equipped kitchens and eight classrooms. At the facility, Emirates crew members can partake in theoretical classroom sessions and practical experiences.
2. Registrations Open For Dubai Fitness Challenge
Registrations are finally open for the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025. This is a popular challenge, which will be happening in the month of November. As it happens, it was launched in 2017 and encourages everyone to commit 30 minutes every day for 30 days to daily activity. An initiative by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and the Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, he is himself a fitness enthusiast.
3. Line 4 Tram Unveiled In Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi has unveiled Line 4, which would connect Yas Island to Zayed International Airport. With the commute time being just 20 minutes, the route would connect key tourism and residential hubs to the airport. As it happens, the line is being developed to offer fast, reliable, and seamless journeys. Additionally, once it becomes operational, it is supposed to offer reduced travel time.
4. Paragliding Resumes In Saudi Arabia
Paragliding activities in the kingdom were approved by the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal. This follows after completion of regulatory requirements and coordination with relevant authorities. The aim is to ensure there is the highest standard of safety, discipline, and professionalism.
5. Emirates And Air Arabia Issue Travel Advisory
This travel advisory has been issued for Europe for passengers who are flying to Europe, they have been told that from October 12 onwards. The European Union will start the rollout of the entry/exit system at Schengen borders. It would replace the traditional passport stamping with a digital record of travellers, entry, and exit. The full implementation will take place across 29 participating countries by April 10th, 2026. As it happens, passengers have been advised to check official guidelines while planning their trips to the countries
6. First Traffic Management License Issued
To regulate drone traffic, the Dubai Air Navigation Service has become the first organisation to receive certification as a U-Space Service Provider. It is a significant milestone in the nation’s effort to regulate and integrate drone operations in its airspace. The certificate was granted by the GACA after the introduction of the UAE’s first national regulation that would approve unmanned aircraft system service providers.
7. Air India Express To Start Lucknow-Saudi Arabia Route
With the launch of the Northern Winter 2025/26 season plans, Air India Express has revealed that it plans to launch routes to Saudi Arabia. This would be from Lucknow to the cities of Jeddah and Riyadh. The Lucknow and Jeddah route will be serviced through three weekly flights, with effect from October 28th, while the Lucknow and Riyadh route will also be served by three weekly flights with effect from October 26th.

8. Jeddah Beauty Week Kicks Off
Jeddah Beauty Week has kicked off at Abadi Al Johar Arena. The six-day event is being held as part of the Jeddah Season 2025. With Saudi Arabian talent in the cosmetics industry shining at the event, it offers a comprehensive look at the art and science of beauty.
9. Oman Bans Uranus Star Water Bottles
The Irani brand of Uranus Star, which serves bottled water, has been banned by the Royal Oman Police. This comes after two people died by consuming the contaminated bottled water, which has been imported from Iran. As a result, the public has been advised not to use the effective brand and to report any concerns regarding the bottled water
10. Lancôme Café de la Rose Doha Opens At Doha Duty Free
Adding a pop of pink to your travel, Lancôme Café de la Rose Doha has opened at Doha Duty-Free. Located near Gate 2, this is the space for beauty and intelligence. Complete with a variety of fantastic products, you can also find delicious cups of coffee and even select offerings as you shop for beauty products.
