1. Fire Breaks Out At A Warehouse In Abu Dhabi
A warehouse located in the Al Muzoon industrial district of Abu Dhabi was engulfed in fire. The significant fire, which broke out, prompted an immediate emergency response from the authorities. Reported during the early hours, plumes of smoke were seen rising above the industrial area. As revealed in a report of The Times of India, the authority quickly arrived on the site and battled the blaze throughout the morning.
2. Omani Visitors Number 7,70,000 At Oman Across Ages Museum
The Oman Across Ages Museum has recorded approximately 9,40,000 visitors. Ever since it opened in March 2023, the museum has seen a significant number of visitors. In fact, Omani visitors alone numbered 7,70,000. As revealed by Times of Oman, this number of visitors was until the end of January 2026. However, it’s worth mentioning that these visitors do not include thousands of those who visit events that are organised at the museum halls.
3. AED800 Fine For Distracted Driving In Sharjah
Sharjah Police has warned motorists that negligence and distracted driving caused by the use of mobile is a traffic offence. These few seconds of inattention can be a cause of tragedy on the road. So, under Article 32 of the traffic law, as revealed by the Gulf News, this offence carries an AED800 fine and four traffic points. So, you might want to drive carefully on the road.
4. Riyadh Landmarks Shine In Green For Saudi Founding Day
As the kingdom celebrated Saudi Founding Day, landmarks and buildings in the capital city were seen lighting up in green colour. As the country celebrated the holiday, cultural celebrations took place across the nation. Moreover, for the day, commemorative stamps were also available at international ports of entry, which honoured the nation’s legacy.

5. Eid Al-Fitr Holiday Announced In UAE
The UAE has announced that the public and private sectors will observe a holiday for Eid Al-Fitr. This will be from March 19th to 22nd. The official working hours will resume on March 23rd. However, this is just for the public sector. For the private sector, the holidays will be from March 19th to 21st. Authorities have, however, added that if Ramadan lasts 30 days, the private sector holiday will be extended to include March 22nd.
