Citizens and residents in the UAE have been urged not to stockpile food. The UAE, as mentioned in a report of the Gulf News, has assured the public of stable and reasonable prices for consumer goods and food products. Here’s all you need to know about this development from the UAE.

Residents Urged Not To Stockpile Food

Citizens and residents in the UAE have been urged not to stockpile food, as the consumer goods and food products remain available across markets at reasonable and stable prices. This was mentioned in the same report by Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, who is the Minister of Economy & Tourism. It was also mentioned how markets are currently witnessing an abundance of fruits and vegetables. Moreover, prices for some have even noticeably declined in recent days due to the continuous arrival of fresh shipments.

Ministry Of Economy Continues To Closely Monitor Market Conditions

During his tour of the Al Aweer fruit and vegetable market, he even met with the traders who confirmed that additional consignments of essential foods are expected to arrive in the coming days. With there being an increased supply, this would further strengthen the market availability. Although the Ministry of Economy continues to closely monitor market conditions, it will also continue to listen to consumer feedback and will address any challenges so that there is smooth availability of goods.
