The social media was rife with the news of Dubai Chocolate products being contaminated by salmonella. However, the authorities in the UAE recently cleared this for the people, stating it was safe to consume. Yes, it announced how the insanely popular Dubai chocolate products are free from salmonella contamination in the country and here’s all you need to know about this development.
Dubai Chocolate Free From Salmonella
As revealed in a report by the Khaleej Times, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has issued clarification. This comes after the US Food and Drug Administration issued a warning, which mentioned the chocolate spread could have potential salmonella contamination. The ministry, as a result, revealed that the Spread Pistachio CaCao Cream With Kadayef by the brand Emek is produced outside the country and is not available in the local market. So, even though it is being promoted as a chocolate that is inspired by Dubai chocolate, the latter, which is available in various forms in the country’s market, is free from salmonella.
Pistachio Spread By Another Brand Was Found To Be Contaminated
This comes after the US Food and Drug Administration also clarified that this product is limited only to the American market. As mentioned previously, Dubai chocolate is basically a common name that is gained by the product from fix Dessert Chocolaterie. This has become a well-known brand that is inspired by distinct flavours of the Middle East.
