Saudi Arabia has rolled out a new nationwide campaign aimed making Umrah smoother, safer, and less confusing for millions of pilgrims. Called ‘Jayi Lil-Umrah, the initiative comes from the Saudi Hajj and Umrah Authority and focuses on guiding pilgrims through every stage of their journey.
Saudi Arabia’s ‘Jayi Lil-Umrah’ Programme Designed To Help Pilgrims
From arrival to departure, this campaign is practical, operational, and designed for use during the busiest Umrah season of the year.
According to a report by Kashmir Digital, the campaign responds to the sharp rise in international pilgrims entering the Kingdom since the start of the 1447 Hijri year. More than 11.8 million Umrah performers are set to arrive from abroad. Managing numbers of that scale demands clarity, coordination, and communication, and that’s what the campaign will work on.
A Digital Guide For Every Step Of The Journey
;Jayi Lil-Umrah’ acts as a digital companion for pilgrims. It provides step-by-step guidance starting at airports, border crossings, and transport hubs. From there, it continues through accommodation areas near the Holy Mosques and extends to approved cultural and religious sites.
Instead of relying on guesswork or scattered information, pilgrims receive structured guidance. It offers help with services, movement, etiquette, and safety. It’s a blessing in disguise for first-time visitors who may struggle with language barriers or unfamiliar systems.
The campaign will lead to fewer delays, safer movement and better crowd management.
Built For A Global Audience
One of the campaign’s strongest features is accessibility. ‘Jayi Lil-Umrah’ delivers information in six or more languages, ensuring that pilgrims from different regions understand the process without any physical barriers.
This multilingual approach helps pilgrims from every continent who are often stuck with limited local knowledge. Clear instructions in familiar languages reduce stress and help visitors focus on worship rather than logistics.
Officials have confirmed that the campaign will continue until the end of Ramadan, the peak period for Umrah travel.
