Ras Al Khaimah recently announced how it plans to turn its residents and citizens into promoters of tourism. This comes at a time when it has launched a new initiative called the RAK Ambassador initiative. It aims to encourage them to invite friends and relatives from abroad, so they can discover the emirate. Here’s all you need to know about this tourism-related development coming in from the emirate.
RAK Ambassador Initiative Launched
RAK Ambassador initiative was launched on August 18th by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It aims to boost tourism, hotel occupancy and visitor spending; it also aims to engage the community to support economic growth in the emirate. This campaign is running until October 31st, 2026, and this would allow UAE citizens and residents who are aged 18 and above to register as ambassadors. As revealed by the Gulf News, they can nominate overseas visitors to travel to Ras Al Khaimah until this date to be eligible for the campaign.
This is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the emirate, and it seeks to enrich and diversify the tourism and investment experience. Under this programme, hosts who have been registered will be able to invite more than one visitor. However, they will have to ensure that the guest details have been submitted before they arrive in the UAE on a tourist visa or through visa-on-arrival.

It’s worth mentioning that visitors participating in the initiative will also get access to a wide range of exclusive offers. We are talking about discounted hotel stays, restaurant & cafe discounts, special deals on marine activities, tickets to major attractions and even safari tours. Besides this, they will be eligible for many benefits, including those that extend to luxury car rentals along with shopping offers at Al Manar Mall.
