Offering runners a chance to participate in a competition that allows them to run across the breathtaking landscape of AlUla, this is an event that you absolutely wouldn’t want to miss. As revealed by the Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday, December 10th, this race is open to beginners and experienced runners alike. And now the registrations have also opened.
Different Series Of Race
But before one talks about the registration, it’s important to talk about the race. Yes, the race series includes a Kids Run, which is for 1.6 km and is perfect for children aged 5 to 12 years. Then there is Sunset Run, which is for those who are aged 13 and above. Subsequently, a 10 km race and a 23 km race are also available for participants who are more experienced. However, there is a more demanding race of 50 km and 100 kilometres, called the Ultra Trail Race, which is basically for the most resilient and skilled runners.

So basically, as revealed by the Arab News, on the first day, the runners will arrive. They can collect their race packs before they take part in the Kids Run and the Sunset Run. Not to mention, the race kits can be collected at the Event Village, which will be located at the amphitheatre in Old Town. Additionally, Day 2 will host competitive distances, which begin at sunrise with a 100-kilometre race. It is followed by 50 km, 23 km, and 10 km, and it should be noted that the medal ceremonies will be taking place throughout the day as the runners cross the line.
