Something very colourful is heading to Al Ain later this year. And honestly, it sounds like the kind of place where adults will probably act more excited than the kids. Bubble Planet is coming to Al Ain Square from August 28 to November 7, 2026. The experience, created by Theory Eleven Entertainment alongside the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, mixes giant bubble-themed rooms, lights, VR experiences and strange optical illusions into one very surreal indoor attraction. It already toured cities like Milan, London and Singapore before landing in Abu Dhabi. Now it’s making its way to the UAE’s oasis city.
For Adults Who Secretly Miss Being Kids
There’s actually a name for this growing trend now. “Kidulting”. Basically, adults are leaning into activities that were once seen as just for children. Think ball pits, arcade games, silly themed cafés or giant inflatable parks.
Bubble Planet fits right into that. Visitors walk through 11 different themed rooms. One room has an enormous bubble bath-style ball pit. Another uses virtual reality. There’s also an underwater-style LED room and an infinity space filled with mirrors and lighting effects that will probably dominate Instagram feeds for weeks.
But it’s not only about photos. At least that’s what the organisers are pushing. The whole idea is to make people disconnect a little from daily stress and just play around for a while.
Families Will Probably Spend Hours Here
The experience is designed for all ages, which means parents won’t just be standing awkwardly in the corner holding bags while kids run around. There’s enough interactive stuff happening to keep most people entertained. Lights. Lasers. Moving projections. Bubbles everywhere.
Also, the creators behind this project worked on Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, so they already know how to turn giant spaces into sensory-heavy attractions that pull people in fast. For many families in the UAE, especially during hotter months, indoor attractions like this become an easy weekend plan.

What Visitors Need To Know Before Booking
Tickets start from AED 65 for children and students, while adult tickets begin at AED 95. Registration opens on April 30. People who register early get access to a pre-sale on May 4, before public tickets officially open on May 5. That said, these kinds of events tend to sell quickly once social media videos start circulating. Especially the rooms with floating bubbles and strange mirror effects.
