A dinosaur adventure has been introduced to Dubai, and it is not a typical tour of the museum. The Immersive Odyssey at Dubai Festival City Mall offers virtual reality with life-size animatronics of dinosaurs to make something much more hands-on and much more entertaining.

According to the report of the press release, the experience begins on Level 2 adjacent to the North Entrance and welcomes visitors into a carefully crafted experience blending science, storytelling, and some movie-style drama. It is designed to interest kids who have curious minds. Adults will also be hooked into it.
A Journey That Starts Behind The Scenes
The tour begins with the Museum of the Reserves, which is modelled as an underground fossil collection. Imagery of rare bones, silence, and the feeling that you have gained access to a special zone. Henceforth, things change swiftly. The stillness is replaced by motion, noise and size. Each zone goes on top of the previous one, and the transition is made between learning and complete immersion.

Go Back To The Jurassic Age In VR
The highlight? The VR Odyssey. Tourists will have to put on headsets, and within a moment, they are in a panoramic prehistoric world. Dinosaurs roam freely. The scenery is expanded on all sides. There is a virtual tour guide that takes you through it all, highlighting how these living creatures survived, moved and lived. It is not only visual but also informative without a sense of a lecture in a classroom.
Out Of Screens To Roaring Reality
The experience changes again after the VR part. The Virtual to Reality section presents dinosaurs which move, breathe, and roar in the environment of the real world. You are not looking anymore; you stand there.
The last destination is the Creative Play zone, which slows down the speed. Children have an opportunity to be practical in their activities, take photographs, and make mini science experiments. It is a considerate move to close what might be a sensual experience.
