If you’ve lived in the UAE long enough, you know Hatta as more than just a weekend escape. It’s a silent escape when city life starts feeling a little too loud. And now, it’s gearing up for an even bigger moment. The second edition of #HattaWinter is officially set for 5 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, and trust me, this year’s line-up looks jam-packed with fun activities for everyone.
#HattaWinter Returns With Six Big Festivals, Fresh Activities & A Full Mountain Vibe
Picture cooler weather, mountain views and a full calendar bursting with cultural nights, family activities, outdoor sports and a few surprises. Get ready to witness something exceptional this year.
Six Festivals, One Mountain Playground
. This year, #HattaWinter will stage six major festivals:
- #HattaFestival, run by Brand Dubai, from 5–28 December at Leem Lake
- Hatta Honey Festival, by Dubai Municipality, 27–31 December
- Hatta Agricultural Festival, also by Dubai Municipality, 16–20 January 2026 at Leem Lake
- Hatta Cultural Nights, by Dubai Culture, 20 December–1 January at Hatta Heritage Village
- Productive Families Festival: Hatta Brings Us Together, 5–28 December at Al Wadi Park
- Hatta Wadi Hub Festival, a long-running favourite, 5 December–31 January
From Emirati honey tastings to night-time performances, mountain sports, farm experiences and family-friendly pop-ups, you’ll want to linger as mentioned in a report by Gulf News.
What Brand Dubai Is Bringing To the Table
Brand Dubai says this year’s programme levels up last year’s. You can expect more cultural activities, expanded community involvement and a bigger showcase of homegrown talent. Thirty small businesses from the “Proudly from Dubai” initiative are set to participate. There will be camping nights, photography walks, kids’ workshops, youth entrepreneurship sessions and plenty of food pop-ups to keep everyone happy and fuelled.
Getting There And Moving Around
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been busy with Hatta’s long-term development plan, which includes 74 projects across mobility, infrastructure and tourism services. So far, 48 are done, and 26 are underway. If you are someone who plans parking spaces before heading out for a festival, here’s some info for you.
For the festival period, RTA confirmed:
- 1,059 parking spaces
- 65 valet spots
- 14 daily Dubai Mall–Hatta bus trips
- 8 internal shuttle buses
- 600+ mobility services covering crowd and traffic management
Dubai Police will also have teams stationed at all festival sites to ensure a smooth, safe experience.
