Dubai has finally launched its much-awaited annual 30-day Ramadan In Dubai’ programme. It coincides with the start of the holy month. Andthis activation features 30 days of cultural, community, and lifestyle events across the main destinations in the emirate. So, with the holy month just a few days away, here’s all you need to know about this development coming in from the emirate.
Ramadan In Dubai Launched
As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, the initiative is a part of the wider seasonal campaign, Al Wulfa. This is running from mid-Shaaban celebrations of Hag al Leila until Eid Al-Fitr in Dubai. Promoting heritage traditions and cross-cultural engagement, ‘Ramadan In Dubai’ is a part of this initiative only. Moreover, it centres on the unique atmosphere of the holy month, and it brings the community together for evenings across neighbourhoods and public spaces for meaningful shared experiences.

Highlights Of The Month-Long Programme
It should be noted that the key events shared include the Ramadan Street Food Festival. This will take place in Sheikh Hamdan Colony. This comes along with seasonal night markets and majlis gatherings as well. Complete with heritage-inspired experiences, family activities at Citywalk, Global Village, Expo City Dubai, and Dubai Festival – truly a lot is on offer for visitors. As it happens, there are even large-scale visual elements that will be featured across the city. These include Ramadan fireworks! Yes, the fireworks are expected to take place at Al Seef and Dubai Creek. This would be along with the drone light shows, citywide decorative lighting, and lantern displays that extend through to Eid.
Government and partner entities are also going to host cultural and charitable initiatives. It should be noted that hotels, malls, and restaurants are rolling out special Iftar and Suhoor experiences for people this month. With extended retail hours and promotions, the coordinated seasonal cultural calendar of Dubai is full of fantastic events.
