Dubai’s triathlon calendar is getting a major shake-up this November. The Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend is moving from Meydan Racecourse to Al Mamzar for its third edition, bringing a new coastal course, an Olympic-distance race and an all-female professional field with it. The event will take place from November 13 to 15, with spectator entry free throughout the weekend. More than 2,000 athletes representing 57 nationalities have already signed up, with more than a third returning from previous editions.
Dubai T100 Is Getting A New Home
For its 2026 edition, the Dubai T100 will swap Meydan for Al Mamzar, giving the three-day event a distinctly coastal setting.
The new location also means the T100, Olympic-distance, Sprint, and relay races can all take place at a single venue. For spectators, that makes it easier to follow the action without having to move between different parts of the city.
The race weekend falls from Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15, and spectators can watch the action for free.
There’s A New Olympic-Distance Race
If the full T100 sounds like something best left to professional athletes and people who voluntarily enjoy waking up before sunrise to swim, cycle and run, there is some good news.
The 2026 Dubai programme introduces an Olympic-distance triathlon for the first time.
Participants will swim 1.5km, cycle 40km and finish with a 10km run. There will also be relay options for the Olympic and sprint distances, allowing teams to divide the three disciplines between different participants.
The Sprint remains a shorter option, covering a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run. The signature T100 race features a 2km swim, 80km bike ride and 18km run.
20 Of The World’s Best Women Are Coming
There is another major change to the professional race this year.
Dubai’s professional T100 race will feature women only, with 20 elite female triathletes expected to compete. The names have not yet been announced and are due to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The change follows a revised T100 competition format, with male and female professionals racing across separate events before coming together for the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final from December 10 to 12.
The Course Will Take In Some Major Dubai Landmarks
The move to Al Mamzar has also reshaped the route.
The cycling course will head through Al Hamriya Port and Dubai Islands before taking athletes across the Infinity Bridge. From there, the route passes Port Rashid and the Queen Elizabeth 2, with the Dubai Frame and Burj Khalifa visible in the distance.
The running section will use the shaded paths of Al Mamzar Park and its newly opened corniche footpath.
The event will also form part of Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from October 31 to November 29 this year. The 2026 edition marks the tenth anniversary of the citywide 30×30 fitness initiative.
