Ramadan Nights Return to Umm Al Emarat Park
Bringing back the festivities of Ramadan, get ready to experience Iftar canons, live oud music and more at Umm Al Emarat Park. Ramadan Nights returns to the lush lawns of the park with full-scale programmes of family-friendly gatherings. This return comes after a successful debut the previous year. As it happens, complete with month-long initiatives, it is once again turning into one of the most-loved green spaces in the capital during the holy month.
Perfect Place For Celebrations
With the lush lawn set against the brilliant skyline of Dubai, it’s the perfect place to spend the cooler evenings. Leaning into the spirit of the holy month, the community-led experiences align with the UAE’s ‘Year of Family’. Every evening, Iftar canons are fired at the main gate at the Maghrib prayer time. During this moment, conversations stop mid-sentence, and visitors gather together to break their fast.

A Dedicated Iftar Space At Ramadan Garden
With the Ramadan Garden opening, the dedicated outdoor Iftar space, which is located at the Children’s Garden. Every evening, it’s truly a lively atmosphere here, the Ramadan Garden opens from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. There’s also live oud music drifting through the air, as guests dive into a menu curated by Emirati Chef Mariam Al Mansoori, traditional Ramadan drinks are also included, with there being special rates for children aged 6 to 12. The best bit? There is free entry for children under six years old.
However, the fun doesn’t end there. On Fridays and Saturdays, the promenade hosts a Ramadan pop-up market. This is open from 8 PM to 1 AM, and it shines the spotlight on small businesses, local talent and food vendors. The Evening Garden is perfect for people who are seeking quiet reflection, as it hosts wellness sessions, which include the full moon ceremony that will happen on March 4th at 8 PM.
