Complete with live orchestras, family-friendly cultural events and film courses, it’s going to be a season packed with programmes, perfect for people for all ages. Abu Dhabi Festival is making it return for the 23rd edition. Yes, it will be returning from October 10th to December 19th, and will feature a range of gripping programmes. From orchestra performances, ballet, and dance, to recitals, jazz ,and community events, it will be bringing together top artists, not just from the UAE but even from across the world.
What Can You Expect?
The event is going to open with UAE National Orchestra on October 10th. This concert will be happening at Etihad Arena and will be conducted by François López-Ferrer. Hans Zimmer is also going to be making his way for The Next Level tour to Etihad Arena on November 13th. And the performance will be featuring music from some of the best known film scores by the Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning composer. Children’s Biennale will also be making its debut in November at the Umm Al Emarat Park. It is the first dedicated outdoor children’s art biennale in the Arab world.
From Ballet to Jazz, Many Performances To Be Expected
Not only this, but the festival will also include jazz, ballet, recital, dance performances, and large scale productions. Celebrating the 23rd edition of the event, this follows the previous success of the Abu Dhabi Festival Abroad that attracted over 1,42,000 visitors. These were from across the United States, Austria, Spain, Lebanon, and South Korea.
