Global Village Gears Up for a Dazzling Eid Al Etihad Celebration Under the Theme ‘United’

As someone who never misses a chance to soak in Global Village’s festive chaos (the good kind!), this one seems to be an unforgettable one. According to the Gulf News, the theme for the season is “United”. Expect it to be a salute to the UAE’s incredible journey and the spirit that brings millions of people together under one flag.

A Celebration Of Unity And Heritage

The park is going to be full of festive pulse as it celebrates the National month. You’ll witness the gates, streets, and landmarks decked in the bold colours of the UAE flag. There’ll be ten stunning cultural installations scattered throughout. Everyone will be capturing a piece of Emirati tradition. Keep your phone fully charged as there will be plenty of Insta-worthy backdrops for families and friends.

And celebrations in the UAE mean one more grand thing: Fireworks!  From December 1 to 3 at 9 PM, you can catch breathtaking fireworks displays and UAE-themed drone shows at Global Village. The skies will be lit red, green, white, and black.

ATheatrical Performance

How is any celebration complete without performances? This year’s celebration is bringing the party on the Main Stage, where a theatrical operetta titled “From the Desert to the Stars” will take over. The show will take place from December 1 to 3, performed twice daily. Expect a blend of dance, drama, and emotion to tell the UAE’s story of unity.

Add to that traditional Yola and Harbiya performances along with a live concert by Khaleeji music star Khalid Mohammed on December 1 at 9 PM
