Dubai’s season of events is here, and a new festival or pop-up is happening across the emirates every other day. Similarly, the second edition of Gault&Millau Culinary Innovators is bringing a pop-up that’ll leave you hungry for more, literally! They are uniting 14 of the city’s top chefs under one roof for an unforgettable two-day pop-up. So expect it to be nothing but the best foodie event of the season.
Dubai’s Top Chefs Come Together For A Two-Day Culinary Showdown
You can spot this culinary pop-up by Gault&Millau at The Avery at the Conrad Hotel, Trade Centre. Running on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, expect the evening experiences on both days and a special lunch seating on Saturday. It would be a good idea to grab your tickets from Platinumlist in advance because the sessions are capped at 150 people.
Every guest will be treated to six “hero dishes”. Each will be crafted by a powerhouse collaboration between two restaurants. To elevate this decadent offer, there’ll be free-flowing beverages, live entertainment, and plating artistry. So, you’d better keep your phones charged and camera ready.
Power Duos That’ll Make Your Taste Buds Applaud
Let’s talk about the real stars: the chefs. Takashi Namekata and Hisao Ueda from TakaHisa are teaming up with Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s Chris Malone. Expect nothing short of a mashup between Japanese precision with British culinary theatrics.
Daniel Birk and Jason Atherton from Row on 45 will collaborate with Pierre’s TT’s Mathieu Balbino. It’s going to be all about the French finesse with modern flair. Jun’s Kelvin Cheung and Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori’s Akmal Anuar are set to deliver a bold, asian flavour-packed creation.
Then comes up Al Muntaha’s Saverio Sbaragli partnering up with Moonrise’s Solemann Haddad, while Maison Dali’s Tristin Farmer and Krasota’s Dmitry Vinokurov are set to whip up something multi-sensory. Finally, to end your meal on a sweet note, SNA’AP’s Nouel Catis (yes, the “Dubai chocolate” guy) teams with BRIX Journey’s Carmen Rueda Hernandez.
