Global Village is almost ready to reopen its doors for Season 31, with a fresh line-up of experiences across the park. The Dubai attraction returns on Wednesday, October 14, bringing revamped pavilions, new restaurants, entertainment and visitor-friendly updates.
New And Refreshed Pavilions
There will be 29 pavilions to visit this season, showcasing more than 90 cultures and housing over 3,500 retail outlets. Visitors will find updated experiences at the Sri Lanka, Russia and Azerbaijan pavilions, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions return with redesigned spaces.
Gardens of the World is also making a comeback, with additional features for visitors to discover.
Where To Eat
There will be plenty to choose from when hunger strikes, with more than 250 food and beverage options spread throughout Global Village.
New arrivals include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café. Restaurant Plaza is also welcoming three new names: Hawawshi Al Rabie, serving Egyptian favourites, Robo Al Sham, focused on Levantine cuisine, and fried chicken brand Chicking.
Dessert District has also been refreshed, giving the sweet-toothed another reason to make a stop.
Rides And Shows
The funfair is getting a few updates this season. The Ferris Wheel has been given a new appearance, while Tokyo Rush is set to become the newest roller coaster. The ride is expected to feature high-speed sections, tight turns and a loop, although its opening date has not yet been confirmed.
Several familiar attractions will remain, including The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City.
Entertainment will be just as busy, with more than 40,000 shows planned throughout the season. Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back joins the programme as a new stunt show, while Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist will headline the season as two new anchor productions. Bank Heist is an acrobatic show inspired by true-crime stories.

With dozens of pavilions, hundreds of places to eat and a packed entertainment schedule, it is worth planning your visit before arriving. If you want to see several areas in one evening, comfortable shoes are a good idea.
