This event is happening at the Dubai Studio City’s Sound Stage. The event is being organised in partnership with the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority and Sharjah Book Authority.
Offering free entry to everyone, as revealed by the Gulf News, doors open daily from 10 AM to 2 AM. As book lovers get to browse through more than 1 million titles, these are across a variety of genres. Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, educational, resource, or a self-development guide, the sale has got you covered. From popular series to autobiographies, there is something for every reader.
A Discount Of Up to 95%
The best part about this book sale is that you can get a discount of up to 95 per cent! Yes, the prices of the books start for as low as AED2, which makes this one of the most-awaited and accessible events for book lovers. Especially with Ramadan evenings, bringing families out for meaningful outings, this event is being held under the theme ‘Beyond the Noise’. Moreover, there is a special discount for students and educators. Yes, they can avail 5% off on English books with no minimum spend. For this, however, they must present their valid student or educator ID at the checkpoint.
Not only this, but shoppers will also have a chance to win a MacBook Air! Those who spend AED200 in a single receipt will receive one lucky draw entry. Not to mention, those who spend AED250 will get two entries, and every additional AED250 that is spent gets two more entries. The vouchers are worth AED1,000, and they are also up for grabs.

Stage Write 2026 Contest
As it happens, the event is also hosting Stage Write 2026. This is a 48-hour playwriting contest, which is taking place on February 28th. Happening from 10 AM to 12 PM, the participants can register at the venue. For this, they will have to draw character and situation cards. After this, they must submit an original 10-minute play within 48 hours. The winning entry will receive a AED500 cash voucher and even a live theatre adaptation at X Fest 2026.
