Muscat Nights 2026 commences on January 1st, 2026. This is a month-long fiesta that will take place until January 31st. And as expected, it will feature a slew of fantastic programmes, which are going to translate an integrated version for the winter season. Combining the best of entertainment, culture, sports, and economy, it will all be within an urban experience that spans the Muscat governorate.
Muscat Nights 2026 Dates Announced
As revealed in the report of Oman Observer, for Muscat Nights 2026, events will be held across several locations that are within the Muscat Governorate. This includes the following:
- Al Qurum National Park
- Al Amerat Public Park
- Oman Automobile Association
- The Royal Opera House Muscat
- A’Seeb Beach
- Wilayat Of Quriyat
- Wadi Al Khoud
Visitors, as a result, will get to experience facilities in several urban spaces and in different styles.
Siraj, Omani Child Of Light To Be Featured
For this year, it will feature characters Siraj, which is the symbolic character that has been introduced as an Omani child of light who owns the city’s sky. And as it embodies the narrative and visual dimension of Muscat Nights, it will serve as the main attraction for families and visitors, not just from Oman but from outside as well. Not only this, but there will also be a fountain and light symphony, which will take place in the heart of Al Qurum National Park, thereby transforming it into an open theatre.

Other Highlights Of The Month-Long Festival
There will also be a Muscat Nights Circus, which will highlight daily shows held at the Oman Automobile Association site and will be performed by national artists. This would include acrobats, balance, aerial acts, and sleight of hand. Not only this, but the circus area also includes an activity dedicated to children. Offering an interactive educational experience, children will get to role-play scientific professions and view simplified presentations from the world of astronomy and space. The fun, however, doesn’t just end there! The Al Qurum National Park will also witness nightly drone show displays along with moving light formations, which will mimic the artistic and cultural symbols that are inspired by the identity of Muscat governorate.
Carnival Areas, Sports Programme & More
Moreover, Masha and the Bear activities are also going to offer a family adventure. Carnival areas will also be there, featuring family games and amusement rides! Not only this, but Sports Programme will also be there, including cycling races, endurance events & more and Youth Events will feature drifting car shows with professional demonstration of advanced driving and beach football and volleyball tournaments are also going to be some interesting additions. There will also be a motorcycle exhibition featuring classic and modern models, Heritage Village, which will be returning with a new look, and the Royal Opera House Muscat will also be hosting fashion week events as part of the activation.
With a jam-packed calendar of events taking place across the city, it’s going to be something that people would not want to miss.
