The 15th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival has begun, and it will be running until January 24th. Taking place within the precincts of Stadium 974. It’s happening with fanfare and spectacular fireworks. Qatar International Food Festival Begins In Doha
Taking place in Doha, Qatar International Food Festival is back for its 15th edition. The opening ceremony was attended by the Qatar Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Visit Qatar H.E. Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, CEO of Visit Qatar Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, and Director of the National Museum of Qatar H.E. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Thani.
This edition of the festival celebrates the Qatar-Canada-Mexico Year of Culture, which is in cooperation with Qatar Museums. It is a part of an ongoing institutional journey of trying to unify efforts for enriching a unified national events calendar. Featuring a lineup of standout attractions, as mentioned by The Peninsula Qatar, there is an immersive lineup of experiences that you cannot miss during your visit.
Captivating Drone Shows, Dinner In The Sky & More
Visitors here will be able to enjoy a daily firework display, dinner in the sky, and even a popular market experience. The programme features captivating drone shows, interactive sessions at the cooking studio, engaging installations like the QIFF Ring, and evolving showcases from emerging restaurants.
Coming to what you can expect at the festival, it features 46 international vendors from countries like Egypt, the UK, the USA, Brazil, Lebanon, and more, as mentioned by Iloveqatar.net. From within Qatar, there are 184 restaurants that are offering their signature menus. Taking you on a tour of culinary traditions from across the world, you will find some of the most exquisite dishes here.

Highlights Of Festival
The local cafe scene here is unlike any other, as you can find everything from exotic juices to trending drinks and more. There is even a Healthy Corner that’s perfect for vegans, vegetarians and Earth warriors. Not only this, but there’s also The Souq and Torba Market, where you can spend your time shopping. The new edition of the QIFF happens to be the Open Fire Food Festival, which features a variety of eateries serving fire-grilled meats and seafood. The special QIFF Ring that was mentioned previously, it features a slew of competitive food challenges, including hotdog-eating contests and ingredient-guessing games.
Not only this, the focus is on enhancing the global position of Qatar as a leading culinary destination. It’s not just home talent, but also international excellence in gastronomy. This festival is open on weekdays from 4 PM to 11 PM, while on weekends it’s open from 3 PM to 1 AM.
