Yes, it has announced that the fourth season of Ramadan Souq will open on January 17th. This will be taking place at the Old Municipality Street Square, which is in the Grand Souq area of Deira. With the Ramadan Souq running until February 15th, here’s all you will want to know about it.
Ramadan Souq Returns For 25 Days
Returning for 25 days, Ramadan Souq is going to take place at the Old Municipality Street Square, which is in the Grand Souq area of Deira. The annual event aims to preserve the authenticity of the Emirati traditions. Yes, right in time for the holy month of the souq, highlight the historical value of traditional markets as a key tourist attraction. Not to mention, through this initiative, local investors are also supported as they get to showcase and promote their products.
A Wide Range Of Recreational Activities
During the Ramadan Souq, the markets will host a wide range of recreational, commercial and tourism activities. As revealed in the report of the Gulf News, these have been designed to cater to the diverse needs of the community. So, whether it’s young people and families or someone older in age, there’s something for everyone. Offering a distinctive shopping experience, there will be a focus on competitive pricing and traditional merchandise that will leave shoppers spoilt for choice. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that the souq will open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.

Ramadan Is Just Few Days Aways
The announcement for the Ramadan Souq comes right in time as speculation is going on about the date for Ramadan. It is expected that Ramadan may start between February 17th and 19th. However, this will depend on the traditional moon sighting method. This is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, wherein Muslims observe a fast from dawn to dusk. As they engage in spiritual reflection and perform the acts of charity, it is expected that the month of Ramadan may conclude on March 19th.
