Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, this time the Dubai Summer Surprises is returning under the theme, ‘Make it a Dubai Summer’. This is the 29th edition of the summer festival, which blends massive retail discounts, culinary events, staycation deals, and live concerts into a city-wide celebration. Perfect for residents and visitors alike, this is truly a fun-filled celebration that you wouldn’t want to miss.
The Festival Opens With Weekend Of Live Performances & More
Dubai Summer Surprises opens with a weekend full of live performances across the city. Dubai Hills Mall is all set to host free concerts by Emirati artists. This will be performed by Saif Al Ali on July 3rd and Arqam Al Abri on July 4th. On the other hand, Mirdif City Centre is going to see Rahma Riad and Nassif Zeytoun on the same weekend. In fact, Khaleeji music fans can also witness Samratna by Mohamed Al Bakri at the Mall of the Emirates on July 3rd and nostalgic Assem Sukkar Spacetoon Concert at JAFZA One on July 4. Not only this, but theatre lovers are also in for a treat as Khairan Resort, a Kuwaiti comedy, will be running on July 3rd and 4th.
Beloved Mascots To Return & New Additions Await
There is something special even for tiny tots, as they are making their return. No DSS edition is complete without the beloved mascot, and Modesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre returns from July 3rd to August 23rd. As it happens, it will feature Fun Zone, Modesh Market, and Family Zone that visitors wouldn’t want to miss.
There are several fresh additions this year besides the return of favourites. There is something called DSS Luxe Edition, which is making a debut. Offering a premium shopping experience with luxury pop-ups, exclusive brand reviews and personalised services, it’s something that shoppers wouldn’t want to miss.
Back-to-School Carnival is also happening from August 7th to 8th, which will bring family entertainment and live performances before the new academic year begins. Diners are invited to explore some of the most popular restaurants offering specially curated menus. After this, the 10 Dirham Dish promotion is also making a return from August 3rd to 30th, offering select signature dishes available across participating venues for just AED10.
