Mark your calendars, Dubai. Sole DXB, the city’s much-loved contemporary culture festival, returns this December, running from 11 to 13 December at Dubai Design District (d3).
What Is Happening At Sole DXB 2026?
The three-day weekend brings together international acts, local live music, fashion, film, food and sports, all in one creative district. The line-up and ticket prices have not been announced yet, but more details are expected in the build-up to the festival, so keep an eye on the official @soledxb Instagram page.
From Sneaker Meet-Up To Dubai Institution
Now in its 14th year, Sole DXB began as a cool meet-up for sneakerheads and has grown into one of the city’s biggest homegrown festivals. Visitors can expect exclusive drops, interactive experiences and creative activations across fashion, tech, accessories and more. With music, fashion, film and food all under one roof, it is the kind of weekend where you can catch a headline set, browse a limited release and grab dinner without leaving the venue.
Who Has Headlined Before?
Last year’s headliners were Tyla and Miguel. Earlier editions have featured James Blake, Tems, Nas, Jorja Smith, Stormzy and Central Cee, which gives you a fair idea of the calibre the festival tends to attract. Nothing has been confirmed for 2026, so any name you see doing the rounds online is speculation for now.
A Packed Season Ahead
Sole DXB lands in the middle of a busy final quarter for the UAE. The Dubai Comedy Festival is on this October, the Emirates Dubai 7s follows in November, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix closes out the year in December. For a festival that has built its name on surprise drops and big-name sets, that is the safest bet. If you are planning your calendar around Dubai’s big events, it is worth blocking out the second weekend of December now.
How To Prepare
With ticket prices still to be announced, the smartest move is to keep that weekend free and follow the festival’s official channels for the first release. Early-bird windows are common for festivals this size, though nothing like that has been confirmed for Sole DXB 2026.
