Ramadan in Sharjah does not keep silent. Since the sacred month has arrived, the emirate turns on something larger, brighter and much more social. The Sharjah Ramadan Festival returns in its 36th year, and by 2026, the festival is expanding to cities, shopping malls and neighbourhoods with a full calendar of shopping events and cultural celebrations.

Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2026 Is A Family, Culture, And Shopping Fun

The festival was launched in the Central and Eastern parts of Sharjah and will last until March 25th. It’s about 39 days of festival activities under the theme of Ramadan Spirit in the Heart of Sharjah. As a report by Gulf News suggests, the edition this year is also in line with the UAE Year of Family as it is categorically oriented to togetherness, experience and celebrations of the community.

A Family-Centred Festival

The festival is arranged by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It combines the practical shopping requirements with the feeling of the event. The major malls, retail shops, local and international brands are participating along with productive families, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

The idea is to get all the stuff inside the same roof. The necessities in Ramadan include gifts, household items, and more. It is structured in such a way that the family members can shop, walk, and have some time together without having to skip around to different locations.

Bigger Rewards, Bigger Promotions

The Sharjah Ramadan Festival is a part of the Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2025-2026 campaign that commenced on December 1. This long shopping period has had the shoppers vibrant throughout. From the offers, contests, to the prizes, everything really seems to be worth entering.

The flagship program is one of the largest crowd-pullers of this year, known as Shop and Unlock the Secrets. It will be on display in six large shopping malls with a combination of interactive activities and great prizes, gift vouchers and special offers during the festival.

There will be fifteen winners who will be taking prizes such as gold bars and shopping vouchers of AED 10,000 each, only redeemable at selected malls.

It Is More Than Retail Therapy

The hook may be shopping, yet culture provides the support for this festival. Another level of engagement to keep the shoppers in the running for the grand draw is the Ramadan Nights exhibition at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
