Topgolf Abu Dhabi Set To Open Massive 3-Storey Venue On Yas Island By 2026

Abu Dhabi is getting a new golf and entertainment destination on Yas Island. Topgolf, one of the world’s most popular golf attractions, is set to open a huge new venue on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.  The doors are expected to open by the end of 2026. If you like golf, games, food, or just hitting things very hard in a safe direction, get ready to book your visit soon.

Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island To Welcome Topgolf In 2026

According to a report by the Gulf News site, the new Topgolf Abu Dhabi complex will bring a full-scale, multi-level golf entertainment experience to Yas Island. Similar to Dubai, it won’t be a simple driving range. It’s planned as a full social and gaming destination built for groups, families, and players who enjoy the game.

A Three-Level Golf And Gaming Playground

This Topgolf venue will span three floors. The design includes a VR hitting bay, dedicated practice and training zones, lounge areas, and a proper pro shop on the ground floor.

The dining outlets are situated on the upper floor. Expect a sports and sky lounge, outdoor terrace seating, an arcade zone, and flexible event spaces. So don’t come just for a golf visit, turn it into a half-day hangout instead.

There’s also an event lawn planned, which opens the door for tournaments, brand activations, and private functions.

82 Hitting Bays With Ball-Tracking Tech

The outfield driving range will stretch across 19,000 square metres. The venue will feature 82 hitting bays, including eight VIP bays for private group sessions and premium bookings. Every bay will use TopTracer technology, which tracks each ball’s speed, distance, and path in real time. Players see their shot data instantly on screen, which adds a game layer to every swing.

Direct tee-line access will also support focused practice sessions for players who want skill work.

Yas Island Adds Another Crowd-Puller

Topgolf already runs a successful venue in Dubai, which has welcomed more than 2.7 million guests in five years. That track record explains why a second UAE location makes sense.

Construction at Topgolf Yas Island currently sits around 28 per cent complete. The project comes through a partnership between Viya, the authorised Topgolf franchise partner, and Miral, the developer behind many of Yas Island’s headline attractions.

A Golf Destination That Offers A Place To Socialise

Traditional golf can feel slow and strict. Topgolf flips that mood. You can compete, snack, relax, and laugh through terrible swings without anyone judging your stance.
