With 200+ Food Outlets, Immersive Experiences & More To Expect From Global Village Season 31

Global Village is returning to Dubai for its Season 31 on October 14th. And for the new season, it is bringing along more than 90 cultures. From international food and shopping to cultural experiences, thrilling rides, and live entertainment, here’s all you can expect from the new season if you are also planning to visit with your loved ones.

Global Village Returns On October 14th

Perfect for a family outing, Global Village is returning under the theme ’ A More Wonderful World,’ as mentioned by Gulf News. Complete with cultural pavilions, shopping, live entertainment, amusement attractions, and dining, it is all set to welcome visitors not just from the UAE but across the world. As it brings together over 90 cultures through pavilions, it’s giving visitors an option to explore different countries.

Shopping Galore For Visitors

Visitors will be able to browse through handicrafts, antiques, artwork, jewellery, clothing, traditional items, skincare products and more. There will also be photo opportunities, performances, colourful architecture and demonstrations. In fact, there is also going to be something called the Heritage Village that gives you a chance to see traditional Emirati life. Yes, these are complete with Bedouin-style homes, Majilis settings, traditional shops, camels, Arabic coffee & dates, and even a falcon display.

Entertainment Programmes, Immersive Experiences & More Planned

There are even plans for entertainment programmes. The programme includes main stage performances, street entertainment, international acts, cultural shows, concerts, drone displays, fireworks, children’s shows, and even laser shows. The lineup for Season 31, however, is expected to be announced later. At the Carnaval, you can expect 190+ rides, attractions, and games. These are along with over 125 arcade and skill games. Complete with family-friendly and high-intensity rides, the individual rides are available through the underpass.

Immersive experiences are not to be missed by visitors. They get to walk into an 11-room adventure at the Blackstone Hall. The Expo Planet City also offers futuristic experiences. We are talking about Infinity Mirror Maze, ThrillFX 5D Cinema, Neo Flight Flying Theatre, Galaxy Hunter, Gravity Vortex, and StarCraft simulator.

Garden Of World To Return?

Not only that, but the Garden of the World, which is one of the visual highlights, is also making a return with large floral displays along with miniature versions of famous landmarks. Visitors can also enjoy fireworks, drone shows, and live displays. Characters from the Global Village will also be present for the experience, such as Waleef, who is the adventurous hero from the Arabian desert.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that there will be more than 200 restaurants, food stalls, and cafes that will be present at the venue. Visitors will be able to sample cuisines from around the world for delicious bites.
