Ramadan Iftar canons make an important part of the celebrations. For decades, the Iftar cannons have signalled Iftar for fasting people. The General Command of Fujairah Police has also finished its preparation for firing the traditional Ramadan Iftar throughout the holy month. Here are all the places where you can watch the Iftar Cannon in Fujairah.
Ramadan Iftar Canon In Fujairah
For Ramadan 2026, the General Command of Fujairah Police has completed its preparation. As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, you will be able to watch the main launch taking place at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which is in Fujairah. This will be alongside several locations, which will be across the emirate. The initiative also aims to revive one of the most cherished traditions of Ramadan. And the aim is to enhance the spiritual and communal atmosphere as well. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque was selected as a primary site due to it being a prominent religious and cultural landmark.
Other Locations To Also Feature Iftar Canons
However, there are additional locations, which have also been designated so that residents and visitors can experience this cherished Ramadan tradition. Additionally, all the organisational and security measures have been put in place for public safety. The initiative also reflects its continued commitment towards strengthening community partnerships. Not to mention, it also promotes the values that are a big part of the UAE society, all the while extending wishes for a blessed Ramadan.

Dubai Also Reveals Its Locations
This development in Fujairah comes just a few days after Ramadan canons were announced in Dubai. Yes, 33 locations were revealed by Dubai Police where the Ramadan Iftar cannons would be placed. Six of these were to be fixed at prominent landmarks. Not to mention, they would also be mobile canons that would travel to 11 different areas across the emirate. The fixed canon location would be at Exp City Dubai, which would be the main canon site, Vida Creek Harbour, Dubai Holding -Jumeirah Beach Residence, Emaar – Burj Khalifa, Dubai Festival City, and Damac – Damac Hills.
So, with the Itar canon sites unveiled, all you need to do is make plans and watch this cherished Ramadan tradition.
